How to Create a New Page that is Custom Page in Microsoft Word

Custom Paper allows the designer to choose between a variety different paper types. The quality and the type of paper is determined by specifications that are input when designing the page. These are the values for the paper’s weight and thread count, density surface texture, and fiber content. Once the designer has selected the paper’s quality, they can specify the dimension for each of the four principal areas: background, border text, border images.

The Layout and Visualization dialog box offers two options for custom paper weight and size. The [Width Settingand [ Height Settingsections regulate the dimensions of the text. The Output Size Setover section determines the size of the output window. The third section, known as the Advanced section includes options for advanced features like auto spell checker layout and auto formatting.’ The fourth section, known as the Default Allocations setting, controls different allocation options like whether to use default color and theme values, as well as whether to include printer-set background and foreground background colors.

To adjust the size of a document, you first need to access the General Settings tab. Then click on the custom-size button. The button for customizing size appears as a two-sided line on the far right of the General Settings panel. To open the custom-size tool highlight it and then click on its icon. Enter a value for the custom size, then click OK. To change the other sizes of paper, access the Add New Styles dialog box and select the size you want. To change the default theme color, click the Change Themes button. The theme currently selected will be displayed in the page layout preview and can be changed. To change the color of the background of a custom-designed paper, choose the desired color from the available color pickers and then click Change Theme.

To print a PDF file from Microsoft Word, select the Print button, and then select the Save As option. The current custom paper name is also visible in the Save As dialog box. Use the Browse button to locate and select the desired location for the document. A page number is now provided in the pop-up for location. The Browse button allows users to browse all files on their computer and choose the desired file. Click on the Open button to open the PDF file. Enter the path.

Some older computers may not be compatible with latest drivers for printers. In such cases users may have to install the appropriate driver prior to printing a document. To accomplish this, first make sure that the correct device driver is installed on the computer. Then download and install the free Print Driver Software. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the program and then use the driver software to update the printer driver.

After the Print Driver Software is installed, the user should select the custom sizes of paper in the Print menu. The user will be given the option of choosing from four different custom sizes – Courier, Arial, Glass Lettering, and Roman. Use the buttons to change the size of your custom pages. The newly created custom paper size is now shown in the printer properties dialog box. The user can modify the settings of the printer, if needed. Click on the Save tab and then click OK to save your modifications.
